While "Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day" was just short of a month ago, it's always good to remember what getting kids into cycling can do for them. Mountain biking is a great way to exercise and enjoy the outdoors, so whether you're on the road or on the trail, make sure to bring your kids along.

Countyline BMX Race Schedule
Just a quick post on the 07' race schedule for the County Line BMX track. The track has been moved, rebuilt and is ready to ride. Races are every Sunday until November with Friday night races twice a month.
Buffalo Creek Trail Day
Team Evergreen and the Front Range Mountain Bike Patrol are at it again with another trail building day for the Buffalo Creek open space area. The event is geared toward starting the construction of over 25 miles of new trails in the area. Just for showing up and helping out, you get a free breakfast and a post work BBQ bash. A final break in our winter cold spell has gotten everybody here at the shop out and riding. We've got pictures to share by the album full. The first ride is down in Pueblo where the trails were dry and the riding was great. The other ride is some trials in the heart of the Denver Tech Center area with our new crew member Mike. You'll also notice that the photo albums are gone from the page but not to worry. There is a link on the right of the page that will take you to all of our photo albums on our new picasa page. Give it a try and check back for more posts as the season kicks in.
Finally hit some dirt
Sunday the crew got out to Dakota Ridge to surprisingly find some ridable trail. Most everything was ridable except for the occassional snowy/muddy spot. Here are a few shots of the day, enjoy!

Chief Mountain Snowshoeing
A couple of weeks ago we all headed up to Chief Mountain on Squaw Pass to do a little snowshoeing. We joined a few guys from COMBA and it turned out to be a pretty sweet day, even without bikes. Click the photo to see the whole album.
